  • Millennials make up 25% of the U.S Population

  • Millennials make up 21% of consumer discretionary purchases (which is estimated to be over a trillion dollars in direct buying power and a huge influence on older generations)

  • 53% of Millennial Households already have children

  • About 1 in 4 millennials are parents today

  • Millennials believe parenthood is a partnership (64% dads, 50% moms) believe that they have equal responsibility of child care

  • Almost 50% of millennials would be more willing to make a purchase from a company if their purchase supports a cause

  • Brands that stand for more than their bottom line receive greater millennial brand love

  • 37% of Millennials say the are willing to purchase a product or service to support a cause they believe in. Even if it means paying a bit more

  • 46% of millennials reported having 200+ facebook friends compared to 19% of non-millennials

  • Millennials are 2.5x more likely to be a early adopter of technology than other generations

  • 56% of millennials report they are usually either one of the very first to try new technology or are among the first group to try a new technology

  • Millennials are known as content creators and users. 46% of millennials post original photos or video online That they themselves have created

  • Useful is the new cool - Millennials value brands that enhance their lives(change wording this is trademarked) New tech must serve a purpose in ordered to be considered "cool"

  • 80% of millennials want brands to entertain them 40% want to participate in co-creation of products and brands

  • 70% feel a responsibility to share feedback to companies after a good or bad experience

  • 79% of millennials would like to visit all 50 states and 75 % would like to travel abroad

  •  Half of all millennials report taking four or more overnight trips a year compared to 75% of non-millennials

  • 69% of millennials say they crave adventure
